Purple Giraffe Transcription Online's transcription rates differ for small and large projects - please contact us to discuss your audio transcription requirements and we can provide you with a more accurate quote.

If your audio transcriptions or discs for DVD transcription are required to be completed overnight or during the weekend the hourly rate quoted to you will be the same as if the work was completed during the week.

• The hourly rate for individual projects that will take under 50 hours to transcribe is $40.00 plus GST.
• The hourly rate for individual projects that will take over 50 hours to transcribe will be discounted plus GST. The discount is increased again if the project will take 75 hours to type.
• GST is additional to the hourly rate and to overseas clients GST is zero rated.
• Invoices are due for payment 14 days from the date of invoice.
• Invoices are to be paid via internet banking and these details are on our invoice.
• Proofreading is $20.00 plus GST per hour.

For large projects it may be requested that 25% of the projected quote be paid as a deposit before transcription is commenced.
